Silje Norendal is a Norwegian snowboarder born 1993 in Kongsberg. She got her first snowboard at age four. While she did a number of other sports as well as different disciplines like Half-pipe and Boardercross, Silje eventually specialized in the Slopestyle.
Despite her disappointing performance at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, prior to 2014 Silje Norendal is considered as one of the best slopestyle snowboarders along with Jamie Anderson, Anna Gasser, and Torah Bright.

Therese began skiing on her family farm. Now she is an Olympic medalist in two consecutive Olympics: 2010 Vancouver (gold) and 2014 Sochi (bronze).
