Young and beautiful, Tsvetana Pironkova is currently Bulgaria’s first racket. Born 1987 in Plovdiv, she started playing tennis at the age of 4 coached by her own father.

Tsvetana Pironkova‘s best career ranking so far is #31. In July 2010 she has reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon 2010 by eliminating some big names in the womens tennis, including Venus Williams, Marion Bartoli.

Alexandra Jekova is a Bulgarian Snowboard girl. She is only 22 and has a great potential, which makes her one of the big hopes in Snowboarding.

Alexandra was at the 2006 Winter Olympics, and the Vancouver Olympics are her 2nd Games. Unfortunately, she fell badly in qualifying, injuring herself and became unable to continue the competition.

She is the best Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast for the last years and also one of the biggest in the world.

The beautiful Bulgarian sprinter Ivet Lalova won place for the semi-finals in women’s 100m Sprint. She started tragically, but finished very good. Lalova shows a great spirit and it seems she’s ready for really big returning.
