Samantha is out of the New Zealand national team since the end of 2012. Unfortunately, athletes are not immunized from psychological disorders like burnout, which is the most likely reason she got dropped from the team. Will Samantha ever return to the “Black Sticks”? We bet she will. Since field hockey isn’t the most popular sport in the US (or anywhere else), you can also bet on super bowl.

As you can probably notice, Samantha and Charlotte have significant visual similarities because of which they are often mistaken for each other – even by comentators and match officials during a game.
