Mikaela Shiffrin is an American alpine skier specialized in slalom and giant slalom. Born 1995 in Vail, Colorado, she is named one of the most promising young skiers, as well as the next U.S. ski star.

Shiffrin made her World Cup debut in 2011, at only age 15. Soon after, she became the second-youngest U.S. skier to win an alpine World Cup event. Prior to 2014, the beautiful American have 7 World Cup wins and another 14 podiums. At the 2014 Winter Olympics she took the gold in the Slalom event.
