Pikus-Pace has won five medals at the World Championships. She competed at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics with a sled designed by her husband – who, fortunately, worked in a metal fabrication company. After the dissapointing fourth place Pikus-Pace retired from the sport. Two years later, in 2012, the American announced her return.
